Findings For Wednesday 30th November 2022

Psalms 12:7‭-‬8 NLT...Therefore, Lord, we know you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation, even though the wicked strut about, and evil is praised throughout the land.

Luke 10:41‭-‬42 NLT...But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Philippians 3:20‭-‬21 NLT...But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Saviour. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

This is a great message for me today. Recently I was getting agitated with things that were going on around me and I just didn't like how it was making me feel. So as the message says

"DO NOT LET FIXING THINGS BE YOUR TOP PRIORITY. YOU ARE EVER SO LIMITED IN YOUR CAPACITY TO CORRECT ALL THAT IS WRONG IN THE WORLD AROUND YOU.  DONT WEIGH YOUR SELF DOWN WITH THE RESPONSIBLITIES THAT ARE NOT YOUR OWN. INSTEAD, MAKE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH ME YOUR PRIMARY CONCERN. TALK WITH ME ABOUT WHATEVER IS ON YOUR MIND, SEEKING MY PERSPECTIVE IN THE SITUATION. RATHER THAN TRYING TO FIX EVERYTHING THAT COME TO YOUR ATTENTION , ASK ME TO SHOW YOU WHAT IS IMPORTANT. REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE EN ROUTE TO HEAVEN , AND LET YOUR PROBLEMS FADE IN THE LIGHT OF ETERNITY."

I seen this picture and I was taught this in the A.A. Don't let toxic people live in your head rent free evict them and get good tenants

But God Uses The Foolish to Shame The Wise

I just love the way God can reach me now and how he has a great sense of humour getting the message across.

The devil as usual was firing fiery darts at me. And I was reminded of a video I watched by David Diag Henendez How To Win Mind Battles

The thoughts that were battling in my head were ...I am not intelligent and That I was stupid and then I started to compare myself with others. But as David said in his video we have to use God Word to defend ourselves against these intrusive thoughts.

So a scripture came to me. It was 1 Corinthians 1:27...Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

Then this song was playing on my Alexa at the time and I did have to laugh here what stood out from the song. love it πŸ’“

Well the moral of the story isEverybody's got a purposeSo when I hear that devil start talking to me saying"Who do you think you are?"I say
I'm just a nobodyTrying to tell everybodyAll about SomebodyWho saved my soulEver since You rescued meYou gave my heart a song to sing

Word For Today ...ASSURANCE

This morning I was listening to she Story for today from my Youversion Bible App. In the story Christine Caine was talking about Hebrews 11:1 and Christine said that she the loved the words Confidence and Assurance.

Then I got up and went into my kitchen to make a cup of tea to take into my prayer room

. While I was waiting for the kettle I turned over my calendar that I have in my kitchen to read todays message and there again was the word ASSURANCE!!!!!!

And the song Blessed Assurance started to play in my head and the funny thing is I named my blog after that song πŸ˜‡

Spiritual Transfer Clearly Explained (IMPARTATION)

I didnt know what Impartation meant so I google it and found this.......

Impartation has to do with the giving and receiving of spiritual gifts, blessings, healing, baptism in the Holy Spirit, etc., for the work of the ministry. It is the transference of these “gifts” from one man or woman of God to another, especially through the laying on of hands.

Conflictions I have in in the Bible ...

“‘Throughout the period of their dedication to the Lord, the Nazirite must not go near a dead body. Even if their own father or mother or brother or sister dies, they must not make themselves ceremonially unclean on account of them, because the symbol of their dedication to God is on their head.

Here is were i am conflicted with this verse.. We have to honour our father and mother but in numbers it says the above. So I hope to find resolution with this....lets see what comes up !!!!!

Boundaries... Law #6 The Law of Evaluation

Law #6:  The Law of Evaluation

"But if I told him I wanted to do that, wouldn't he be be hurt?" Jason asked. When Jason told me he wished to assume responsibility in tasks his business partner was effeming poorly, I encouraged him to talk to his partner "Sure he might be but I said in response to his question, "So, what's your problem?"

Well I wouldn't want to hurt him." Jason said, looking at me as though I should have known that.

"I'm sure you would not want a hurt him." I said "But what does that have to do with the decision you have to make?"

Well, I couldn't just make a decision without taking his feelings into account. That's cruel.
" I are with you. That would be cruel. But, when are you going to tell him?" "You just said the to tell him would hurt him and would be cruel Jason said perplexed
"No, I didn't " I replied. "I said to tell him without considering his feelings would be cruel. That is very different from not doing what you need to do."

"I don't see any difference. It would sell but him "But it would not harm him, and that's the big difference.

If anything the hurt would help him" "Now I'm really confused. How can it possibly help to

"Well, have you ever gone to the dentist?" I asked

"Sure."

"Did the dentist hurt you when he drilled your tooth to remove the cavity?"
"Yes".

"Did he harm you?"

"No, he made me feel better."

"Hurt and harm are different," I pointed out. "When you ate the sugar that gave you the cavity, did that hurt?"

"No, it tasted good," he said, with a smile that told me he was catching on.

"Did it harm you?"
"Yes"

Boundaries

"That's my point. Things can hurt and not harm os fact they can even be good for us. And things that feel g can be very harmful to us."

You need to evaluate the effects of setting boundaries and be responsible to the other person, but that does mean you should avoid setting boundaries because someone responds with hurt or anger. To have boundaries-in this instance, Jason's saying no to his partner-is to live a purposeful life.

Jesus refers to it as the "narrow gate." It is always easier to go through the "broad gate of destruction" and continue to not set boundaries where we need to. But, the result is always the same: destruction. Only the honest, purposeful life leads to good fruit. Deciding to set boundaries is difficult because it requires decision making and confrontation, which, in turn, may cause pain to someone you love.

We need to evaluate the pain caused by our making choices and empathize with it. Take Sandy, for example. Sandy chose to go skiing with friends instead of going home for Christmas vacation. Her mother was sad and disap- pointed, but she was not harmed. Sandy's decision caused sadness, but her mother's sadness should not cause Sandy to change her mind. A loving response to her mother's hurt would be, "Oh, Mom, I'm sad that we won't be together too. I'm looking forward to next summer's visit."

If Sandy's mother respected her freedom to make choices, she would say something like this: "I'm so disap- pointed that you're not coming home for Christmas, but I hope you all have a great time." She would be owning her disappointment and respecting Sandy's choice to spend her time with friends.

We cause pain by making choices that others do not like, but we also cause pain by confronting people when they are wrong. But if we do not share our anger with another, bitterness and hatred can set in. We need to be honest with one another about how we are hurt. "Speak truthfully to [your] neighbor, for [you] are all members of one body" (Eph. 4.25).

As iron sharpens iron, we need confrontation and truth from others to grow. No one likes to hear negative things about him or herself. But in the long run it may be good for us. The Bible says that if we are wise, we will learn from it. Admonition from a friend, while it can hurt, can also help.

We need to evaluate the pain our confrontation causes other people. We need to see how this hurt is helpful to others and sometimes the best thing that we can do for them and the relationship. We need to evaluate the pain in a positive light.

Thanks giving

Boundaries: Obey God, Regardless!!!!!!

Monday 21st November 2022

'So that it might go well with them.' Deuteronomy 5:29 NIV

Obeying God isn't always easy, but he will give you the grace to do it.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were ordered by the king to be burned alive for refusing to worship his golden image. Notice their faith confession: (1) 'Our God...is able to deliver us' (Daniel 3:17 NKJV). They never doubted God's ability. (2) 'And he will deliver us' (Daniel 3:17 NKJV). They never doubted God's willingness. (3) 'But if not,...nor will we worship the gold image' (Daniel 3:18 NKJV). They never considered an alternative to obedience! How did their story turn out? 'Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished...saying..."Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king." "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God"' (Daniel 3:24-25 NKJV). What happened next? 'Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon' (Daniel 3:30 NIV).

You say, 'But this is the hardest thing I have ever been asked to do.' When God asks you to do something you don't want to do, or feel you can't do, he has your best interests in mind. When your children say, 'I can't do this, it's too hard,' do you change your mind and let them off the hook? No, you insist, because it's for their good. That's how God feels about you: 'Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them' (Deuteronomy 5:29 NIV)

God is for Us who can be against us

Just now I am afraid. Declan got his house broken into and his dog stolen. Then yesterday one of the guys walked down Comely Bank. Its as though they don't care about what they did. I come from a big family and growing up my name was respected.

But now adays I don't think we are as strong as we use to be which makes me sad. I use to love if any of us got into trouble we were all there together. ❤️

But I have God and this came to me this morning  in my meditation .πŸ™

If God is for us who can be against us

Experience That Causes Transformation

S.H.A.P.E. (5)

Tuesday 8th November 2022

'Then you will learn to know God's will for you.' Romans 12:2 NLT

The letter E stands for experience. How can you know God's will for your life? Paul answers, 'Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you' (Romans 12:2 NLT). The word 'transform' means 'to change in shape'. How is a diamond formed? It's the result of unrelenting pressure over a long period of time. Your life's experiences will point you towards your life's purpose. God never wastes a pain! The psalmist said, 'I used to wander off until you disciplined me; but now I closely follow your word....my suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees' (Psalm 119:6771 NLT).

How do we learn to do what's right? By experiencing the pain of doing what's wrong. You say, 'But others have mistreated me. Is that God's will for my life?' It could be. Paul writes, 'I want you to know this... Everything that has happened to me here has been a great boost in getting out the Good News concerning Christ' (Philippians 1:12 TLB). Then he adds: 'For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honour to Christ, whether I live or die. For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better' (Philippians 1:20-21 NLT).

The reverse side of a tapestry looks like a tangled mess of threads. But that's what it takes to produce a picture of beauty, order and value. Getting the idea? Re-examine your life's experiences.

FROM RECOVERY BIBLE :

Psalm 119-71-72 We should be thankful when God disciplines us for our sins. Painful as it may be, discipline drives us back to his truth, which is far more valuable than all the riches of this world. God wants only what is best for us. We would be wise to learn from God's discipline rather than fight it. It is giving for our betterment, not our destruction.

S.H.A.P.E...H for HEART

S.H.A.P.E. (2)

Saturday 5th November 2022

'Do what God wants as people who are obeying Christ.' Ephesians 6:6 NCV

The letter H represents your heart. What do you have a 'heart for' or feel passionate about? As a Jew, Paul was passionate about reaching the Jewish people: 'The longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal. For they don't understand God's way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God's way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law. For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God' (Romans 10:1-4 NLT).

You say, 'Does that mean I must be in the ministry to know and do God's will?' No. Nelson Mandela was so passionate about freeing his people from the evils of apartheid that he was willing to spend twenty-seven years in prison to bring it about. When your heart begins to ask, 'What can I do to change this situation?' you may be discovering God's will for you. The people who have made this world a better place all asked that question. Thomas Edison answered it by giving the world incandescent light. Henry Ford answered it by giving the world the car. Mother Teresa answered it by giving the forgotten and dying of India love and dignity. First, Nehemiah wept over the ruins of Jerusalem, then he rebuilt its walls.

What moves you? What's in your heart? In answering that question, you may discover God's will for your life.

So my answer is "To help people with Depression/Addiction

Depression is negative thinking which can lead to people escaping into addiction (I Did and thats why I am speaking through experience).

It doesn't need to be drugs it can be anything . I call it The Cause and The Effect . Depression is The Cause and The Effect is people turning to addiction of something to escape the torment in their heads

Healthy Mind Healthy Heart.....I have been getting revelations on how my negative thoughts is causing my heart to deceive me. The Scripture that I was giving was

The heart is deceitful above all things ....Jeremiah 17:9

Which has took me on a journey right now. God is giving me revelations in his Word to help me deal with my mind and heart.

This morning I was watching a video by Stephen Furtick and it ties in with what God was saying to me in my inner room this morning ....

A Troubled Mind And An Open Door | Pastor Steven Furtick | Elevation Church

I woke up early this morning so before I did my my Abide and Encounter meditations I watched a video on youtube by Steven Futrick called A Troubled Mind And An Open Door.

In the beginning of the video he said Text without Context is Pretext
Text (a book or other written or printed work, regarded in terms of its content rather than its physical form.)
Context (the circumstances that form the setting for an event, statement, or idea, and in terms of which it can be fully understood.)
Pretext (a reason given in justification of a course of action that is not the real reason).

So I didn't know what he meant so i google it and I found this link which was helpful...A text without a context is a pretext for making the Bible say what you want it to say!  But sincere, humble faith in God respects the meaning of a biblical passage in its context

3 Things I've Learned About the Holy Spirit's Voice

I love when this happens. I was listening to this video this morning by David Diga Hermandez. He is my favourite teacher just now. Im learning a lot about the Holy Spirit through him. I actually  just seen saw him on Instagram  the other day.

So after I was listening to my meditations in bed I got up and went into my prayer room. In my prayer room I was reading The Word For Today from my UCB booklet. So when  I read "GOD SPOKE TO SAMUEL THE PROPHET FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES BEFORE HE FINALLY RECOGNISED HIS VOICE"

I was amazed i don't know why I am surprised but I just am πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ This was in the video above 😱 no joking. But because I had listen to a few  meditations this morning I couldn't remember what one it was in. So I started to search but I was getting frustrated because I couldn't  remember what one I heard it in. So then I let it go and God put a light on it i found it

I had just typed that I found it but crossed it out because no no it wasn't me that just found it. Just like Samuel i was asumimg it was someone else( ME!!!!!) that was talking but it was The Holy Sprit πŸ”₯

Here is the message from today

Treat Others The Way You Want to Be Treated Meditation.

https://app.encounteringpeace.com/library/the-golden-rule

*Look in the mirror πŸͺž and check your blind spot.
*Don't respond in anger. Look in the mirror and see why you are angry!!!
*Look in the mirror to when God treated you with mercy when you did the same.
*The power is definitely in the power of the tongueπŸ‘… πŸ”₯

From The Meditation ...
*Scan your thoughts for a moment. Is your level of care towards some one ever dependant on how they first cared for you. Feel no condemnation from your answer but let this be a time of confession/reflection.
