Jesus Speaks The Truth.

This verse stood out to me this morning

John 18:37 NIV
[37] “You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

So it made me think the ones that don't listen to Jesus are listening to lies...

Watching Spoken Gospel " Dragongfly"

I was just watching spoken gospel and in the background I saw this picture

I wasn't sure if it was a Dragonfly or if I was just making it up but when I used the google lens I got this. It was actually the sound a Dragonfly does...Wow

Love Your Enemy.Like Jesus Did..

Jesus told us to love our enemy but right now it's hard for me when I see clips about how the Muslims are taking over our country and then turning around and destroying it. They come here but don't abide by our laws. And hate arises and it is hard to do as He says but I must if I am to follow him.

When you think of what Jesus went through and then when he was hanging on the cross He said " Father forgive them for they know not what they do" WOW!!!!!!

In today's plan on my Bible App...1 Peter: Exiled, but Not Alone | Video Devotional: Day 4 • Devotional

...this stood out for me about how Jesus is our example.......

"And when Jesus suffered and was beaten like a slave, he didn’t hate his persecutors, but offered forgiveness like a priest (1 Peter 2:22-23)! By his faithfulness and sacrifice slaves are made righteous and healed from their scars (1 Peter 2:24). And just as Jesus died to save and make pure his bride, believing wives can win over their husbands by their gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:1).

Jesus is our example (1 Peter 2:21). Jesus shows us that when God’s people sacrificially behave like chosen exiles, royal priests, and treasured people, the world is blessed, our persecutors are transformed, and we will rise from our humiliation."

After I read today's message in Eyeslave Devotional i know why I can't love my enemy "IM AFRAID" and it tells us 365 times in the Bible to not be afraid. I think this is key to my problem. "STOP BEING AFRAID"

December 24

Read: Zephaniah 1-3; Revelation 7-8 Zephaniah 3:13

“The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.” Remnant believers love the word of God. Once they feed on it and receive from it, they have rest, even in the midst of a busy day. No trouble in our nation and no devil from hell can make them afraid.

2 Peter 1:20-21..."Prophecy"

2 Peter 1:20-21 NIV
[20] Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. [21] For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

God Is My Refuge ( Callendee Message)

This message today is so true...I've been doing exactly this. I was fear driven instead of going to God my refuge

LIVE SIMPLE BLOOM WILDLY

Last night Kevin was telling me he bumped into Taw and was speaking to him.

At first I was a bit hurt that he spoke to him after what Taw did to me. I wouldn't talk to a X-Partner of his if they were bad to him.

*A reflection from jean came to mind " Jean has a pure hatred to a girl called Dorothy she is a connection to her friend Margaret. And because Margaret dosent like her so jean dosent too"

REFLECTION MESSAGE....Just because I don't talk to Taw dosent give me the right to want others to do the same too.

But forgiveness is a hard lesson in life. I thought I had forgiven Taw but when Kevin started to speak about him I could feel anger arising in me . So still got some work here to be done....Then in today's message in my Joyce Meyer Devotional I noticed I have some growing to be done 😆

Do certain people frustrate or irritate you on a regular basis? Perhaps God has placed them in your life as a test, just to see how you will treat them. If we let those who irritate us help us practice love, kindness, and mercy, they can become a help and benefit to us. Only when we are tested do we grow spiritually.

“Father, when You send people into my life who are difficult for me to deal with, help me treat them the way You would. Help me look at myself before I criticize anyone else. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Then Jean saying on her tea cozy came to mind LIVE SIMPLE, BLOOM WIDELY

So while I google to find a photo for my post,  AI generated this for me

Live simply, bloom wildly" is a phrase that encourages a lifestyle of personal growth and minimalism. It suggests finding joy in the essentials while also embracing your full potential without restraint.

The phrase may also be interpreted to mean that people are like flowers, and that it's up to each person to determine how they want to bloom and what they want to accomplish. A flower may start out colorless and boring, but once it blooms it can explode with color. Similarly, people may not always live the best or most exciting life, but they can still bloom and show the world what they are capable of.

So i picked the above photo to go with my post which lead me to this LINK that was with the photo. It made me laugh because this is what me and jean were talking about yesterday about getting rid of all the clutter......So another piece to todays jigsaw puzzle.

To me, living simply, is to get rid of all the clutter in our heads as well as in our homes. To remove all the 'junk' that is thrown at us as we travel on our journey of life. To laugh more, and to love more. To be less occupied with material things, money, what people think, how we look, etc and to really enjoy the present moment. This frees us up to really live, instead of just existing and going through the motions. It's simple, Live simply, live more! When all the clutter is stripped away, we can find ourselves and our purpose. The fog is lifted and we are able to bloom, and bloom wildly that is!

LIFE IS LONG—IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT

Found this photo on this link

December 26th LIFE IS LONG—IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT

“It’s not at all that we have too short a time to live, but that we squander a great deal of it. Life is long enough, and it’s given in sufficient measure to do many great things if we spend it well. But when it’s poured down the drain of luxury and neglect, when it’s employed to no good end, we’re finally driven to see that it has passed by before we even recognized it passing. And so it is—we don’t receive a short life, we make it so.” —SENECA, ON THE BREVITY OF LIFE, 1.3–4a

No one knows how long they have to live, but sadly, we can be sure of one thing: we’ll waste far too much of life. Waste it sitting around, waste it chasing the wrong things, waste it by refusing to take the time to ask ourselves what’s actually important to us. Far too often, we’re like the overconfident academics that Petrarch criticized in his classic essay on ignorance—the types who “fritter away their powers incessantly in caring for things outside of them and seek themselves there.” Yet they have no idea this is what they’re doing. So today, if you find yourself rushed or uttering the words “I just don’t have enough time,” stop and take a second. Is this actually true? Or have you just committed to a lot of unnecessary things? Are you actually being efficient, or have you assumed a great deal of waste into your life? The average American spends something like forty hours a year in traffic. That’s months over the course of a life. And for “traffic,” you can substitute so many activities—from fighting with others to watching television to daydreaming. Your life is plenty long—just use it properly.

Don't Think Your Wise

Doubt and Dread

From my book "My Upmost For His Highest " I defy you to worry. It is virtually impossible to doubt when He is there.

I love this also it is hard to dread something when you have the Lord also .

I could remember reading a message a few days ago about dread and I was trying to find it but it was hard I couldn't remember were I read it. But I'm glad I had written a blog about it that's why it's good to keep notes of things . Well I typed in Dread in to my search bar on my blog and I found it hooray here it is ....

DECEMBER 2 Joyce Meyer Devotional

 DON’T DREAD

The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. —HEBREWS 13:6

Dread is a close relative of fear. It anticipates the future with fear and apprehension. We are tempted to dread many things. We may dread simple daily chores such as getting up in the morning, driving to work in traffic, going to the grocery store, or doing the laundry. But we can just as easily believe we can fulfill these responsibilities with a good attitude, trusting God to give us the grace we need for each one. Dread not only steals joy; it also steals much-needed energy. We hear people say often, “I dread doing this or that,” but this is useless. They must do the task anyway, so why dread it? If we consistently verbalize our dread, our words will defeat us. We will do what we must, but we will be miserable while doing it. If you have given in to the temptation to dread things in the past, now is an opportune time to decide that you will have a happy attitude instead. We can and should all be thankful that we have something to do, that food is available for us to purchase, and that God gives us the ability and strength to take care of our possessions. Turn the table on the enemy (the devil) by finding the good in everything. Be positive, and think of what you do have, not what you don’t have. Make today a happy day by refusing to dread anything. “Father, help me not to dread the tasks I have to do. Thank You that I am able to do them and that I can ask for Your help, knowing that You are with me in everything I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Time For A Heart Check..

My Musing : "TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW"

December 22nd

STAKE YOUR OWN CLAIM

“For it’s disgraceful for an old person, or one in sight of old age, to have only the knowledge carried in their notebooks. Zeno said this … what do you say? Cleanthes said that … what do you say? How long will you be compelled by the claims of another? Take charge and stake your own claim—something posterity will carry in its notebook.” —SENECA, MORAL LETTERS, 33.7

Musing in his notebook about the topic of immortality, Ralph Waldo Emerson complained how writers dance around a difficult topic by relying on quotes. “I hate quotation,” he wrote. “Tell me what you know.” Seneca was throwing down the same gauntlet some twenty centuries before. It’s easier to quote, to rely on the wise words of others. Especially when the people you’re deferring to are such towering figures! It’s harder (and more intimidating) to venture out on your own and express your own thoughts. But how do you think those wise and true quotes from those towering figures were created in the first place? Your own experiences have value. You have accumulated your own wisdom too. Stake your claim. Put something down for the ages—in words and also in example

It's funny yesterday i had written the word musing then i just noticed it's in tomorrow message from The Daily Stoic Meditation

musing: a period of reflection or thought.

So the message is when I wake up to be with God in the morning I need to write down my Musings. Because as it says in the message for tomorrow "Your own experiences have value. You have accumulated your own wisdom too. Stake your claim. Put something down for the ages—in words and also in example.

---TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW ---

Some people will never understand what you bring to the table until they watch you in action

People who don't support you and discourage you may not actually be bad people who intentionally want to destroy your dreams. Sometimes, they just don't understand why you do what you do, so they voice out their concerns Not everyone will see the spark in you, just make sure you see it in yourself and never give up

And what i do know is "Faith based on experience is not faith; faith based on God’s revealed truth is the only faith there is."

The Sword Is The Word and The Word is Jesus.

In my musing this morning I was reading about the armour of God in my Bible Plan
Then it dawn on me the sword is Jesus  Christ. " IN THE BEGINNING THE WORD WAS WITH GOD" I use to think we had to fight with Scriptures ( which we do need)  but it's Jesus that is the word. So the sword is the word which is Jesus.

Then I read This in Upmost For His Highest: Jesus Christ came to “bring . . .

God Is With You." Renew like an Eagle"

This morning I read this from my Devotional from Joyce Meyer "As you go about your day today, think and whisper to yourself, “God is with me.”

This is amazing yesterday i opened my wee book of promises of God and it was 😇🥰

While i was reading this chapter I came across this on page 46...

While i was reading it a story came to mind about how a Eagle renews it's self. Here is a video of how it does this

Be Willing To Look Foolish...Word For Today.

I wonder if James read today's message...or he should read it after his text last night...
He's worried what people will think if they find out. Why are we ashamed of God when He is truly the only one that cares about us

At the community lunch on Sunday Liz and Louis asked me to say grace. But as it says in the message I was afraid to look foolish. I would rather have died.

So Lord i am repenting right now about this and ask for Your forgiveness. Please strengthen me to be able to be like John the Baptist who boldly shouted out about you.
