Calum message on Sunday was great, I got so much out of it. I decided to do a blog on it.
Calum was talking about the ark and how we keep what is special to God in it.
Just like in life as Calum said we store things up in boxes. Things that we hold precious to us. But also there are things that we need to get rid of. And the way to discern this is through "GOD'S FILTER"
This really stood out because, I just did that a couple of weeks ago. I cleared out my boxes which I store some important things in. But when I was clearing out there were stuff in the boxes that was really of no use to me.
By doing this it left room for the good stuff which was buried under all the junk so I can find them a lot easier now. It was as Calum said "Sometimes we carry a lot of stuff that is not productive for us"
And it made me think of myself and what was I carrying that was making me miserable. And the scripture Matthew 11:29 came to mind. Ive choosen The Message Version
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of Grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
This is what Calum's message was all about for me. All the notes I took are condensed into this one scripture ....Amaising how God uses people to relay messages to us.
And to confirm it look at a notification I had on Facebook Another conformation. When I went onto Facebook there was a post I had missed from yesterday and here it is below. 😇👌❤️
Another thing Calum said that stood out on Sunday for me was "The Beattitudes is how we should live and Philippians 4:8 is how we should think. Marvoulous.
I did another blog and I'm putting the link to this blog on it. Because my other blog was that I was watching a video on YouTube. And you have to be careful with what you watch because you definately need a God's Filter here.
So well done Calum on your message on Sunday. Because I will be filtering what I put in my ark from now on..😊
