God Knows You

Are the walls pressing in?  Are you beginning to feel isolated and alone?  Do you know that God knows you personally?  He knows your name. He wrote it on the palm of His hand.

The theme of this meditation from John 10 is about coming to know the nature and character of God who knows you. Remembering that the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and Creator of the universe knows you. He knows your name.  And He is always checking in.

Now welcome this prayer of blessing to remember that when you find yourself wandering and isolated, remember that Jesus is the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His [own] life for you, His sheep.  May you know the substitutionary death of Christ, the guiding awareness of the Holy Spirit, and encounter the righteousness of God now and always.
