Psalm 40:1-2 . Encounter Meditation

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.  I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.  Psalm 40:1 (NIV)

God Hears Your Cries

Have you ever lost something only to discover it was close by the whole time? Hiding in plain sight?

The theme of this meditation from Psalm 40 is restoration after finding what you thought was lost. Recovery in discovering what you thought was distant, is near.   Rest here. Settle here as the Holy Spirit opens your eyes to the close proximity of God the Father and God the Son.

Ponder that and receive this closing prayer to remember to wait patiently for the Lord, for He will turn to you and hear you cry. Now may you know the humility of Christ, the gentleness of the Holy Spirit, and encounter the closeness of my God to thee. Amen.
