Psalm 22:1-3 Encounter Meditation

“It is finished. Tetelestai. It is accomplished. It is complete"...“Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit.”

This meditation from John 19 is a contemplation on Good Friday. The sixth day of Holy Week, falling on the Friday before Easter. Here we will reflect on the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary.

I hope you will take a minute to enjoy listening to "The End" at the end of the meditation from Liturgical Folk, an ensemble group that beautifully pairs historic church language with modern folk sounds.

Receive this prayer of benediction to remember and accept the words of Christ.  “It is finished. Tetelestai. It is accomplished. It is complete.” May you know the completing work of Christ on the Cross, the tender leading of the Holy Spirit, encounter the forgiving presence of God as now and always
