Create A Clean Heart & And Renew A Loyal Spirit
https://youtu.be/px-eU1QjQiUPsalm
51:10-13 David had already seen what happened when God removed his Spirit from King Saul-it was the beginning of his bitter downfall (1 Samuel 15-19). David wrote this psalm of repentance after he committed adultery with Bathsheba and then arranged for her husband's death (2 Samuel 11-12). On the surface, David's sins were far worse than Saul's. Why did God forgive David and offer him restoration? David was humble and broken about his sin. He admitted it and asked for 02 God's help and forgiveness. Saul was never willing to admit his sins; he continued in denial. If we try to hide or deny our sins, we are in grave danger of judgment. But if we are sensitive to our sins and humbly seek God's forgiveness, there is hope for us, no matter how great our past sins. God od will remove any taint of guilt and restore our joy.

Promises Of God
Isaiah 25:1 The theme for this meditation from Isaiah 25 is promises made and promises kept.
We can place our eternal trust in a God that is always faithful. Does Encounter help you trust God's faithfulness? Please consider giving! Have you broken a promise to God? https://app.encounteringpeace.com/library/promise-keeper
Plus also this morning I wrote in my diary 6th July 2022 about this The title of John 14:15-26 is "Jesus Promises The Holy Spirit."
Then The Recovery Principle Devotional I really liked
LOVE
READ JOHN 14:15-26 Real love brings security into our lives.
For many of us, feelings of insecurity contribute to the power of our dependen cies. Believing that love can bring lasting security may be hard for those of us who have been abandoned. Maybe someone we loved betrayed our trust. Perhaps someone turned away from us when we betrayed theirs. It could be that some one we needed died, leaving us permanently.
Jesus promised, "No, I will not aban don you as orphans-I will come to you" (John 14:18). We may ask, How can lang trust in God's love when it feels like all I've ever known is love that disappoints? Here's the difference: Jesus is the only one who entered our lives through the mil "one way" door of death. "God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love-not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins" (1 John 4:9-10). The psalmist wrote, "For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.... The wind blows, and we are gone... But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him". (Psalm 103:14-17).
God's love is unconditional and always waiting for us. Turning our lives over to God involves opening the door of our hearts to his love. Filling up on God's love helps us to avoid relapses. It meets us at our deepest need and overcomes our most powerful insecurities.

Slow Down ..2 July 2022
Love when God shines His light on what you need to learn.
Yesterday at the prayer group I was saying that I needed to slow down. I'm always in a hurry. I even bought a book called "An UNHURRIED life: following Jesus' rhythms of work and rest"
So this is my message today SLOW DOWN
I opened the book at page 28/29 and it's about how Jesus took time out from the crowds.
And what came to mind was stop trying to do things for others so that they will like you (people pleasing). The crowds turned on Jesus too. Here is a part from the book " Jesus attracted crowds very early in his ministry, and soon he seemed to try to avoid them. It wasn't that he didn't care for the individuals who comprised those multitudes, but they wanted something from Jesus that he didn't want to focus his attention on. They wanted him to be a meal ticket or a magician-anything but a Saviour, Lord and God! The crowds were not following him for transformation, but for benefits. Their motivation was far more outward than inward. And their excitement about Jesus would only last as long as he gave them what they wanted.
THE CROWD THAT PRAISED JESUS WITH "HOSANNA!" ONE DAY WAS LATER SHOUTING, "CRUCIFY HIM!"
What also stood out was on page 29 it said Jesus warned the crowd about the wickedness of the present generation (Luke 11:29). And this morning's Encounter Medation was called "BE ALERT FOR WICKEDNESS"
Proverb 29:4 ERV...A nation will be strong when it has a fair and just king. A nation will be weak when it has a king who is selfish and demands gifts.
