I was reading my blog and was looking back on old post and i clicked on the 29th of January 2023. Over three years ago
I can remember that day now. I wouldn't have if I hadn't had written about it. (Something just popped into my head. Two weeks ago Robert Harvey was saying about how Alison his wife came across some old pictures and she says she could remember that day, but Robert says she didn't until she came across the pictures)
If we hadn't have seen the pictures we might not have remembered that moment. Seeing the pictures brought that memory of that moment to the front of our minds.
That's why I like taking pictures and journaling about good things that's happened in my life, because then we are reminded of it and we don't forget them.
So back to my story in the blog. There was a picture of a book someone gave me at church a lady called Marion. She sits right at the back of me. So I went to see if I still had the book.
I opened it randomly at page 63 and something struck me , it says "BEYOND THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK".
I wasn't sure what it meant so i started to go through the book and i found on
page 21 "TRIUMPHING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK"
page 18 " LIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK" .
It might be in other pages but i just stop there because i wanted to know about what "IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK" meant. While i was searching on google, this video came up called " THE WALL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK"

I started to laugh because why was all these things coming up about walls. Because even the theme we are doing at Church is about Nehemiah " BUILDING WALLS".
So I went and lay down to meditate on all I have found and asked the Holy Spirit what was he trying to show me....And here it is : The full film and the moral of the story. Plus I watched a video too of the book of Ezra and Nehemiah from the Bible Project by Tim Mackie and I learned a few things from that video. So a very eventful day

The moral of "The Wall in the Middle of the Book" by Jon Agee is that preconceived notions and fear of the unknown can create unnecessary barriers, preventing us from seeing the truth. It teaches that the "other side" isn't always dangerous, and breaking down walls leads to connection, safety, and a better understanding of others.
Overcoming Bias: The knight assumes his side is safe and the other side is dangerous, representing prejudices that create "walls" between people.
Challenging Fear: The "terrible" ogre is actually kind, demonstrating that fear of "otherness" is often misplaced and that we should not trust our misconceptions.
True Security: The wall actually leaves the knight vulnerable to the rising water on his own side, suggesting that isolationist, guarded mindsets can be more dangerous than openness.
The "Other Side" is Fine: When the knight crosses the wall, he discovers a, "fantastic," and welcoming place.
The book encourages readers to overcome fears and prejudices, suggesting that our perceived "dangers" are often harmless or even helpful.
