GRIEF..INVEST YOUR SUFFERING.

Was over at the church getting a meal that Liz and Loui had made and It was delish. It was good getting to know some other people. When I sat down at first.Their was a polish girl there and her name was Jorgia. She was saying I was a very happy 😊 Then Andrea said if you only knew her story.

So i was telling her a bit of it then she kind of went quite. I said you ok and she ssid "Its just people cope with grief differently." I said im not always happy i have my moments.

Its funny how your mind can start to play games with you. I started to think oh maybe she thinks i didnt really love my boys that much. But for anyone who knows me knows thats not true. And i could feel the guilt coming in for not sitting with my sack clothes and ashes. But my comforter was right by myside. 😇

Marion that i sit beside in church gave me this book and I had open it up at Chapter 8 "REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL" and as usual I had to laugh. Its the truth we can ither be misreable or we can be happy.

This is the boys message to me. 🐝 HAPPY 😊 . THis is were I get the syrength to get through. The joy of the Lord is my strength.

Life is about making choices. We can choose to grieve over what we have lost, to complain about our disappointments and grumble about our hardships. Or we can rejoice in the treasures of God's grace and celebrate his bountiful gifts. We can delight in every good thing he has poured into our lives. David goes out of his way deliberately to remember the entirety of what God has done for him personally, for his people historically and for the world universally

During those warm summer days, Edrie and I had a sense of overwhelming gratitude. God had been so good to us. WeWeq experienced deep, healing joy. We chose to remember what we still had, not what we had lost. You can do the same. The choice is yours. Which will you choose?

His Mercies Are New Every Morning

 This morning I noticed I had read todays message yesterday. But I believe nothing happens in this world without a reason, So when I started to read it i was correct. I was meant to read it today. As usual last night I blew it. I actually ate that much I was sick. 

I am sick of blowing it at night. During the day I am great. I can be very disciplined. Because I walk with the lord. But when it comes to the evening that's when Satan gets a foothold on me. Well it does say he does his work best in the darkness. He prowls about like a roaring lion. 

Gods mercies are new every morning so I start my day asking for forgiveness and then ask Him to guide me. So reading yesterdays message today means a lot to me.

Margaret's Dream For Mary.

Margaret had phoned me saying mary was in hospital. She was telling Mary about a dream she had about her. And Mary said phone our Ann she interprets dreams.

So i prayed on it and this was what I got Im still laughing 😃

Margaret's Dream....Mary had left her bag on a chair. Margaret ran after her and was shouting her name. But Mary wasn't listening.

Dream about losing a bag can represent the loss of self-identity and control. Having trouble in a marriage, can take away a part of your self-self-identity.

So i phoned Mary and I was telling her what I found. I was on the phone talking and she did say that her and Ross were arguing. And she did say that she only hears what she wsnts to hear.🫣🤣🤣. Dont we all at times. Then this morning Word For Today came to mind....and when i read it i was like Wow 😯

HELP FOR YOUR MARRIAGE

Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish...Proverbs 18:13 NLT

Someone said, 'Getting married is like buying something you have admired for ages in a shop window. You love it - but when you get it home, it doesn't always go with everything! The Bible gives us three words that are essential to building a happy marriage: "Live in...harmony (Romans 15.5 NLT). That means doing these three things:

1)Keep an open mind. The Bible says, 'Spouting Soff before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish. So don't form your response while your husband or wife is still talking. And never become so entrenched in your position that you're unwilling to consider your spouse's viewpoint. Listening is about connecting and acknowledging where the other person is coming from. 'Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out only for your own interests.. take an interest in others' (Philippians 2:3-4 NLT).

2)Learn to laugh at yourself. A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face, a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day (Proverbs 15:13 MSG). When you're experiencing money woes, family problems, illness, or exhaustion, humour can ease the tension and help restore your perspective.

3) Eliminate the 'D' word from your vocabulary. Although God permits divorce under certain circumstances, it's never His ideal. Like one couple who worked through their marriage troubles said, "We're glad we didn't give up during the difficult years. We hung in long enough to realise that it really can get better with time. Proverbs 15:13.

Says that a glad, happy heart makes a cheerful countenance. The Bible uses the word countenance in many places, so I think we should pay attention to it. Your countenance is your face, the way you look. God is concerned about how we look because either we are walking advertisements for Jesus or we are walking advertisements for Satan. That is why it is important that we learn how to have a cheerful countenance and a pleasant look on our faces.

My husband has a secretary who is always smiling. Everything he asks her to do, she does it with a smile. I think that is the way God wants all of us to be. When we smile, it puts other people at ease. It gives them freedom and liberty and a sense of confidence.

It is amazing how much more Comfortable and secure we are when we Smile at one another and how much discomfort and insecurity another when we go around with a sour we cause one look on our faces.

Sometimes our problems are not caused by the devil as we might like to assume they are the results of the way we feel and act. We need to cheer up. When we relax and smile, it makes us (and everyone around us) feel better.

STRENGTHEN THE WEAK.

Proverb 18:114....

Do you realize what Proverbs 18:14 is saying? Regardless of what comes into a person's life, he can bear up under it if he has a strong spirit within to sustain him in those times of trouble. But if his spirit is weak or wounded, he is going to have a hard time bearing anything in life. Do you know what is wrong with many in the body of Christ today, why they cannot seem to handle their problems? It is not because their problems are any worse than those of anybody else. It is because they are weak in spirit. 

The Bible says that we are to bear with the failings and the frailties of the weak (see Romans 15:1). We are to lift them up and support them (see I Thessalonians 5:14). Romans 12:8 tells us that one of the ministry gifts God gives to the church is the encourager or exhorter. Such people are usually easy to recognize because every time we get around them, they make us feel better by the things they say and do. It just seems to come naturally to them to uplift, encourage, and strengthen others by their very presence and personality. If you are like I am and would not call yourself a naturally gifted encourager, then form a habit of being more encouraging. That is what have done, and it not only makes others feel better, it also increases my joy level. We all can give compliments, and we all can say, "Thank you." We all can refuse to be slanderers. We all can refuse to allow evil things to come out of our mouths that tear people down. We all can build up, edify, lift up, and speak life to others.

Clear Your Throat.

It feels as though something is stuck in my throat. it's so anoying I definitely need to clear it

The inability to speak up for one's self. Swallowed anger. Stifled creativity. Refusal to change.

It's okay to make noise. I express myself freely and joyously. I speak up for myself with ease. I express my creativity. I am willing to change.

 Reading my book an unhurried Life by Alan Fadling and I opened up at page 180 : But from another perspective, if we're living an eternal life in Jesus, our " only live once" lasts forever. This viewpoint doesn't prevent us with taking risks pushing through fears or seizing opportunities instead, this spacious perspective just might help us realise that we can anticipate many good occasions to grow, be stretched and make progress on a eternal path of transformation. We might for instant find courage to stay with a hard lesson until we learn it. We may realise that we have time to make mistakes necessary for a life lesson to sink in and stick

DON'T JUMP TO THE END...

This morning my blog kept on jumping to the end and I was like what this all about. And then the Holy Spirit said "YOU KEEP JUMPING TO THE END"

Then I came into the kitchen to make my tea. While I was waiting on the kettle I always read my message on my perpetual calendar by Sarah YOUNG JESUS CALLING" and I had to laugh when I read it ..God is Good.

Then James just phoned ...and was moaning about kevin but I can see his point. Its his first day back at work and Kevin no even left the house yet 🫣. .

Heal the inside First

The Holy Spirit is showing me we need to heal the inside first before the outside gets better.

What's coming to mind was the time I was on holiday. I am elergic to the sun. Its called Polymorphic light eruption 

Polymorphic Light Eruption is a common rash caused by your skin being sensitive to sunlight.

The main symptom of polymorphic light eruption is an itchy or burning rash that can appear after several hours outside on a sunny day.

Polymorphic light eruption usually goes away on its own if there's no further sun damage. A steroid cream or ointment can help settle the rash.

Well I had to go to a chemist because it was that bad. It was then that I heard its better to heal from the inside. 

Then Jesus words came to me from. Matthew 15:11...Matthew 15:11, NLT: It's not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.'

 15:11 What does Matthew 15:11 mean? 

After a heated exchange and condemnation of the Pharisees, Jesus turns to the crowd to address what the Pharisees have said. They asked Jesus why His disciples break the tradition of the elders by not ritually washing their hands when they eat (Matthew 15:1–9).

The Pharisees believed they were demonstrating religious faithfulness by following the traditions of leaders who had come before them. One tradition which had become a requirement was ritual hand-washing—probably including utensils—before eating. This was not a command of Scripture, however. God did not demand those specific steps, and Jesus did not require His disciples to wash their hands in that exact way.

It's important not to miss the point of the disagreement. Jesus is not condemning all washing of hands before eating. Nor is He implying that there is no reason, at all, to do so. What Christ denounces is condemning the false idea that a ritualized tradition could make someone spiritually clean. That's why He says in this verse that what goes into a person's mouth isn't what defiles them. It's what comes out of a person's mouth that causes that person to be spiritually unclean.

This would have sounded radical to most Israelites. Not only was Jesus teaching that following the hand-washing tradition did not make a person clean, Jewish people absolutely believed they could be made unclean by eating specific foods, like pork. It's no surprise the disciples ask Him to explain (Matthew 15:15).

Jesus will explain exactly what He means in the following verses. The main idea is that nobody can be made spiritually clean or unclean by the mere presence of some material object. For that reason, spiritual uncleanliness doesn't come simply by unknowingly contacting a speck of some unclean food. What matters when it comes to spiritual uncleanness is intent, such as what's revealed by our words (Matthew 15:17–20).

Context Summary

Matthew 15:10–20 describes Jesus' expanded answer to a challenge from the Pharisees. Their concern is not about washing hands for health, but to follow religious rituals. He says these Pharisees will be uprooted and that they are blind guides. When asked, Jesus tells the disciples it's not what goes into a person's mouth that defiles him; it's the words that come out that reveal the sin in his heart. The defilement is already there, including all kinds of sin. He tells them flatly that eating with unwashed hands does not spiritually defile anyone.
