Then it made me think of the Bible. It is full of stories of bit parts that turned into starring roles.
I choose to put in order my thoughts and hang the walls of my mind with pictures of whatsoever things are lovely and of good report. Joseph Murphy Do I have the power to choose my thoughts, my moods? Yes! I can choose to put love at the center of my being, so its warmth and cheer will be with me always. I do not have to let the world’s doings dictate my moods. I can determine what I want to think about, how I want to be. When I pray and meditate, I choose faith; I expect the best and make room for it in my mind. I choose to let God’s light be my strength and my joy. For today: I choose things that are lovely to put in my mind.

Read: Jeremiah 49; II Corinthians 9-10 II Corinthians 10:18 “For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.” We must constantly guard our hearts from desiring the approval of men at the sake of disapproval from God. It is so easy to fall into that trap. There is an indicator called peace that helps us keep our heart right in this matter. If you have the approval of men but lack peace, then you don’t have God’s approval. If all men were to hate you for what you say or do, but you have God’s approval, then the peace of God will strengthen you against all those who would rail against you. Commend your ways to the Lord and enjoy His peace. David said in the Psalm 34, “…Seek peace, and pursue it.” Living by God’s approval is one great way to seek peace.
Read today's 31 days of hope for overeating .....In it it mentions our body is a temple. But I also liked what it said about not listening to the world's advice but to God's advice 🙏
