Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley. Isaiah 40:4 (NASB).
Humbled By God's Presence
Does the constant cycle of negative world news pull you into the arms of God? Are you humbled to be in His presence?
I pray this meditation from Isaiah 40 will help remind you of your longing to come near to your Creator. To submit yourself to the arms of God. To humble yourself in His presence. You are kneeling as you look up into the loving eyes of God.
Let me pray this closing benediction that every valley be lifted. Pray that every mountain and hill be made low. Pray the rough ground becomes a smooth plain. Pray the rugged terrain a broad valley so may remain bowed before Christ, submitted to the Holy Spirit, and humbled as you encounter the Holy Father now and always. Lord God, hear our prayer, Amen.
