Power Thought: I am expecting God to do amazingly good things in my life.

Its so funny the other night I was thinking about a scripture it was going through my head when I was sleeping. But when I awoke the usual I couldn't remembered it. Then when I reading todays devotional "Power thoughts" in the message it is the very scripture that I heard in my dream. A sign or what!!!!! especially when it's my 60th Birthday today👼

Scripture: Nehemiah 8:10 ....Be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.

Observation: Don't look to the world to form hopes, dreams, and expectations, because even if you get them, they won't be fulfilling. Look to God, Who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond anything you could possibly imagine (see Ephesians 3:20)....Expect Him to do great things in your life, not because you deserve it, but because He is good!

Application: I really need to Believe this scripture Ephesians 3:20(MSG) 

God can do anything, I know—far more than I could ever imagine or guess or request in my wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing me around but by working within me, his Spirit deeply and gently within me. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!

Prayer: Dear God please give me the understanding to believe this. I have doubt in my heart but I would love you to take that away and replace it with expectations on what you are going to do in my life. Its just as joyce Meyer said in the devotional "Don't look to the world to form hopes, dreams, and expectations, because even if you get them, they won't be fulfilling. Look to God, Who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond anything you could possibly imagine (see Ephesians 3:20)"
