Jesus Calling :Pride.

SEPTEMBER 6 DO EVERYTHING IN DEPENDENCE ON ME.

The desire to act independently—apart from Me—springs from the root of pride. Self-sufficiency is subtle, insinuating its way into your thoughts and actions without your realizing it. But apart from Me, you can do nothing: that is, nothing of eternal value. My deepest desire for you is that you learn to depend on Me in every situation. I move heaven and earth to accomplish this purpose, but you must collaborate with Me in this training. Teaching you would be simple if I negated your free will or overwhelmed you with My Power. However, I love you too much to withdraw the godlike privilege I bestowed on you as My image-bearer. Use your freedom wisely by relying on Me constantly. Thus you enjoy My Presence and My Peace.

JOHN 15:5; EPHESIANS 6:10; GENESIS 1:26–27

What areas of pride do you need to confess? Trust Me to forgive and to provide you with everything you need. [Your Response Here]

Forgiveness

God’s Solution

All of us have been hurt. It’s a painful part of life. A parent neglects you or even abuses you. A friend disappoints you or betrays you. A spouse is unfaithful to you or abandons you. A stranger assaults your loved one.

It’s as if you have been stabbed in the back, but the knife is still there. And every time you replay the hurt in your mind, you twist the knife a little more. The pain never leaves and the wound never heals.

What can we do? What can we do about this pain and poison that ruins our life and robs our joy?

God has a solution. God’s solution is simple, but it’s not easy. God’s solution is grace. Extend grace to the person who hurt you. Forgive.

Forgiveness does not mean that all of your hurt and pain are gone. That may take a very long while. Forgiveness means that you have made a choice to forgive, to let go of your anger, to let go of your resentment, to let go of your right to get even. You have said to God, “Lord, I forgive him. I choose to forgive him. I give you my anger and my resentment, my desire to get even. I give it all to you.”

Take the knife out. Let the pain go. Let the wound heal.

Set a prisoner free. Set yourself free from a prison of pain and poison.

Forgiveness is a healing choice, a choice made by Christ’s strength in us, a choice made because of Christ’s grace to us.

Ephesians 4:32 NIV

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

All You Wanted Was My Heart

I was texting Jean on what's app about my addiction to sugar. She says cut it down but I said I was going to do it the 12step way.

I am powerless over it, so I'm handing my life over to the care of God. And I said tomorrow is the first day of my new life.

Then this song started to play All you ever wanted ❤️

Then at 3:00 am Lainey posted this in the prayer group on what's app Move your heart

He just wants to come into my 💖 but I've hardened it again because of things that people have done.

I'm reading a book just now by Carey Nieuwhof. And I highlighted this

" perhaps most disturbingly cynicism begins to infect your relationship with God. When you close your heart to people you close your heart to God. That shouldn't surprise us, but it does. It only makes sense that the very fact of hardening your heart to people simply hardens your heart. And that's the danger --when you close yourself off to people you close yourself off to God. You find yourself trusting less and doubting more"

High Blood Sugar Levels

I had my bloods took on Wednesday 1st September and I received a text on the 3rd of September asking me to make another appointment for fasting bloods.

So I phoned the doctors and and they gave me an appointment to go down that day to get my bloods taken.

I asked the nurse what was wrong and why I needed other blood tests and she said that I had high blood sugar.

I have a book by Louise Hay called Heal Your Body. So when I looked up the negative thought pattern for High blood sugar I was blown away. It says:

Longing for what might have been. A great need to control.  Deep sorrow. No sweetness left.

Then the positive affirmation said :

This moment is filled with joy. I now choose to experience the sweetness of today.

This is spot on. Since the death of the boys and Taw abandoning me again. The longing for the life I wanted with Taw and the boys is gone.

It's funny I just recalled a conversation with Sheena when we were walking to Asda last Friday after the prayer meeting. Sheena said that she had a conversation with Jeanette about grieving over her relationship with her X husband and the life she dreamed of having. Need to go in-depth more with this the next time I see Sheena. She may help me to grieve about the life I Dreamed of too.

So in my denial I was trying to control my emotions with eating sweet things and this just lead to me being miserable and with high sugar levels .

Step 1 in Celebrate Recovery tells me

1. We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable.

I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.
For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. Romans 7:18 NIV

So I am admitting that I am  powerless over my compulsive behaviour and my addiction to sugar and with God's help I can do something about it.

Youversion Plan: Life Changing Spiritual Discipline

1th.5.16-18.NIV

Self Deliverance Devotional.

 Self-Deliverance

No one knows what you need to be delivered from like you do! Remember that deliverance is a continual process. I am continually seeking deliverance for my life because I strive to go from one level of glory to the next level of glory. Scripture says we can go from glory to glory as we press in to be transformed more and more into the image and likeness of Christ. Let the Holy Spirit make you look more like Jesus every day.

I want to encourage you that no matter what you’re going through, keep your head up and smile. When you do this you are walking by faith. When people go through life ugly, mean, nasty, and sad, they are manifesting the absence of a merry heart. A merry heart will make a joyful face.

In His Word, God gives us all wisdom and knowledge needed for Godly living. You have what you need to expose and dispose every scheme of the enemy in your life. Jesus has the victory and so do you because Christ in you is the hope of glory.

Dear Father, with grateful hearts we thank You that we are sons and daughters of Your blessings, called by You, chosen by You, and blessed by You with favor for the calling and for the anointing. Amen!

Book : Do it Afraid

Page 37 : To be deceived simply means to believe a lie

Page 37.....I think I can safely say that we all have times when we believe things that are not true because deceptive thoughts have become strongholds in our lives. Thoughts, whether they are true or false, positive or negative, build strongholds in our minds. Strongholds are places where our enemy the devil, hides in order to destroy god's good plan for us.

Page 43 : for us to walk in victory or enjoy the life Jesus died to give us you must understand the power of the word and work diligently with the holy spirit to learn to control what comes out of her mouth this requires controlling your thoughts you cannot control your words or thought without the grace of god's but when we want to do the right thing and ask for his help he always gives Grace and more Grace to help us

Page 45 let's say same things God says no matter what we think how we feel or how things look you and I have profound effect on her future if we speak positively in agreement with God we will have positive outcomes no one can get anything they want simple by saying they will have it but we can have what God wants us to have if we agree and co-operate with them if we think fear and speak for you we prevent herself from making progress and life we are imprisoned by her own thoughts and words instead of saying " I'm afraid" learn to say "when I feel fear, I will do it afraid."

I just read the word for today and it also speaks about talking positively. Here is what it says

Speak positively (2)

Friday 3rd September 2021

'I decided to forget my complaints...put away my sad face and be cheerful.' Job 9:27 NLT

Let's acknowledge that life is hard sometimes. And some of us have it harder than others. That's why the Bible says there is 'a time to cry and a time to laugh' (Ecclesiastes 3:4 NLT). But what if you keep 'crying' about life?

How can you reduce the strain and drain produced by negative self-talk? Here are three ways: (1) Cut and paste. Train yourself to recognise negative inner chatter the minute it starts and delete it immediately. If you have to, take a chainsaw to it. If it helps, make a 'time out' signal with your hands as a physical reminder to yourself. But don't stop there. Replace those negative thoughts with scriptural self-talk. 'Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles' (Proverbs 21:23 NKJV). (2) Tweak your tone. You know how the doctor says, 'This may sting a little,' as he jabs a needle into your arm? Borrow his technique and reduce big ugly blackhead wordage to smaller, unintimidating blemish terms. 'Impossible' is a brick wall compared to 'this may take some work'. Wouldn't you rather tackle a project that's 'challenging' rather than 'unmanageable'? (3) Be your own BFF (Blessed Friend Forever). Using your BFF voice, intentionally over-dub that negative droning voice inside you. Speak to yourself like you would to your very best friend. The Bible says, 'David... strengthened himself in the Lord his God' (1 Samuel 30:6 NKJV).

Reboot your mind. Reprogramme your thoughts. There's power in God's Word. So, whatever he says about you, start saying the same thing and watch your life change for the better.

Page 49 the feeling of fear is very real it can even manifest physically I believe fear can make a shake and sweat make your heart beat faster interrupt or normal breathing and provoke other physical symptoms but we can manage these sensations realistically if you remember that they are just feelings and that the fear of something bad happening is usually worse than actually deal with a situation that threatens us remember fear holds as back and prevent us from making progress in our life's
